Meet my extended feline family!

NINO

He was very ill with mange, due to infection blind from one eye, underweight, etc. I remember tearing up just to think he was feared by people and other cats. He deserved a chance! Today he greets me before I even get out the car as you can see on the pic and I’m relieved to see he can walk, eat, and hang out with the other cats. I feel blessed for the opportunity to help him.

OREO COOKIE

When I first moved into my current house, oreo cookie was the first cat to welcome me. He is such a grateful cat. So much that he brought a few friends to join the party. He has many siblings in the neighborhood and sure he had multiple wives, but neutered mission completed! He sleeps on top my car.

This one sat in front of my house basically crying for help. FIV, anemia, mange, etc. Today, he is another sweet cat in my life that shows so much affection. I melt with this one.

Yes, he’s under my car with a hen that eat with them from time to time and fights for her spot.

I want to honor my baby chiqui that has transitioned after 14 years with me. My mom and I found her in a shoe box. She lives in my heart and is part of the Cat Café project!

Cat Chat Feature | The Trinity : Pinky, Pipe and Nini

These 3 came from a lost desperate stray that found comfort eating in my front Porch with the other neighborhood cats I feed. At that time, I was traveling for work and lost track of time and one morning realized she was pregnant! I helped her as she was a new mom to raise those kitties and so did Garfield & Shalom (my adult male cats. She left me with 3 gifts who are now part of the grand Cuban Familia!

Cat Chat Feature | Shalom

My mom found him in 2007 outside the house. I had just lost a cat and didn’t really want another one. I bathed him since he was filthy dirty. I put him in a covered terrace I had at that time, but he didn’t want that. He wanted to be in the house and meowed his opinion very loudly! He’s is a Hemingway cat and extremely auditory.  This one is a full time as far as personality. He steels food from the other cats, opens lids from the pans, and any meat from the small oven. He’ s left me without lunch many times!

Cat Chat Feature | Garfield

I found him in my mother’s building in 2010. In that building I spayed and neutered at least 20 cats that year. I knew he wasn’t a stray. It turns out a neighbor didn’t want him anymore and let him loose. He would follow me to the door and I would let him in for a while. I posted adoption announcements in FB but nothing. Shalom and Garfield became best friends. He’s the sweetest cat with people and extremely kinesthetic but a serious alpha male with other cats that think he’s a pretty boy.

My 16-year-old Calico with Kidney failure and an ulcer on her eye but still rock’n- nock’n the boots! This
lady grew up along with my niece. My sister found her in a parking lot and dropped her off my house like
a sandwich. Feisty lady till today but very determined and a fighter. She’s had kidney failure for 2 years
and has done great with Sub Q fluids and a special diet. She slaps the younglings when she finds them
to be disrespectful. She looks great for her age and we all put up with her snoring. She’s my little girl!
